Why us
Why electricians choose us: nine things you can check before you ring
The honest answer to “why you and not an agency” is a list of facts, not a list of adjectives. One person does the work and answers the phone, the prices are on the website, the minimum is three months, you own everything, and we take one electrician per town. Every item below can be checked from outside, and the way to check it is written next to it. Where we fall short is on the page too.
The nine facts
Each one, and how to check it without asking us
- The person who audits your site is the person who does the work and answers the phone.
- How to check it
Ring 07591 018609 in office hours. Daniel Stoychev answers. There is no account manager, no ticket number, no "I will pass that on". - Prices are published, the same for everyone, and the site does not have a hidden enterprise tier.
- How to check it
Read the pricing page. Three monthly tiers, one one-off profile build, a from-price for a website. The quote you get uses those figures. - Three months minimum, then monthly, with a month's notice.
- How to check it
It is written on the pricing page and in the quote. There is no twelve-month contract to find in the small print because there is no small print. - No set-up fee.
- How to check it
Compare the first invoice with the tier price. They match. - You own the domain, the website, the content, the Google Business Profile and the reviews.
- How to check it
The domain is registered to you, not to us; if we register it for you, it goes in your name. The profile is owned by your Google account, with us added as a manager you can remove at any time. Leaving costs nothing and takes nothing with it. - One electrician per town.
- How to check it
Put your town on the quote form. The reply says free or taken in writing. Ask a second electrician in the same town to do the same and they get the opposite answer. - The monthly report comes from Search Console, which you have your own login to.
- How to check it
Open Search Console yourself and compare. Every number in the report is one you can see without us. - Google Ads spend goes to Google on your own card and is never marked up.
- How to check it
The Google Ads account is yours, the card on it is yours, and the invoice from us is the management fee only. - Registered with the ICO under number ZC207002, trading as Webso Digital from 110 Rhosddu Road, Wrexham LL11 2NG.
- How to check it
Search the ICO register for the number. Look the address up. Both are on the footer of every page of this site.

What we are not
Three things the word “agency” usually means, and none of them apply
Not a reseller. The writing is not bought by the thousand words from a content farm and the links are not bought from a list. The pages on your site are written here after a call with you, checked by you, and published with your photos. If a page exists on your site, the person you spoke to wrote it.
Not a template shop. An agency that serves forty trades has a trades template and swaps the noun. This site exists because the electrician version is different: the registers, the job types, the seasons and the questions are yours. Compare the MOT centre page on our garage site with any page here and you will see two different trades, not two copies.
Not a contract. Three months is the minimum because nothing meaningful shows sooner. After that it is monthly and you leave with a month's notice, keeping the domain, the site, the profile and the reviews. There is no exit fee, no handover fee and no “the site stays with us”. Everything you paid for is already in your name.
Proof of method
Our own sites, which you can test yourself
The strongest evidence we have is not a testimonial. It is that we run these sites ourselves, on the stack and to the standard we sell, and every one is live for you to inspect. They show what we build and how we write. They do not prove rankings or traffic for your trade in your town, and we do not claim they do.
| Site | What it is | What to check on it |
|---|---|---|
| electricianseo.co.uk | This site. SEO for electricians. | Run it through PageSpeed Insights on mobile. Read the pricing page, then the results page and its caveats. |
| garageseo.co.uk | The same service for garages and MOT centres. | Compare the MOT centre page with the home page: two pages, two different searches, no template. |
| builderwebdesign.co.uk | Websites and SEO for builders. | The sub-trade pages: extensions, lofts, groundworks. Each one is written for that job, not find-and-replaced. |
| webdesignforsolicitors.co.uk | Websites for law firms, built to the SRA Transparency Rules. | The guide on the transparency rules. Written from the rules, not from memory. |
| searchengineoptimisationcompany.co.uk | General SEO for UK businesses. | The questions section: one question per page, answered in the first two sentences. |
| payperclickmanagement.co.uk | Google Ads management on a flat monthly fee. | The fee is on the page, and the ad spend is explicitly not in it. |
| wrexhamseo.co.uk | A local SEO site for one town. | How a town page reads when it is written for the town rather than swapped in. |
| portsmouthseo.co.uk | The same, for Portsmouth. | Compare with Southampton below: the two cities do not share copy. |
| southamptonseo.co.uk | The same, for Southampton. | As above. |
| seoforhotels.co.uk | SEO for hotels that want direct bookings. | A different trade, the same standard: prices, a named person, no invented reviews. |
| welshwebdesign.co.uk | Bilingual websites for Wales. | A site that has to work in Welsh and English, with the language switch on every page. |
| websodigital.com | The parent studio. Same person, same address, same phone. | The footer of every site above says it is a Webso Digital service, and this is where that leads. |
Run any of them through PageSpeed Insights, or through Quence, our free audit tool, on the home page. The client numbers we do publish, with their dates and caveats, are on the results page.
Where we fall short
The honest column, because a page like this without one is an advert
- Capacity. One person takes a limited number of clients. Towns get taken, and when yours is, we say so rather than squeeze you in.
- No team on call. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:30. There is no out-of-hours desk. Your profile, site and Search Console are in your own accounts, so nothing waits on us if you need it at nine on a Sunday.
- No shared channel, no weekly meeting. You get a monthly report and a person who replies to email, WhatsApp and the phone. If you want a Slack channel and a stand-up, an agency will suit you better.
- No position guaranteed. We guarantee the work, listed, and the numbers, shown. Nobody controls where Google puts you, and we will not pretend to.
- Few testimonials. We publish only what we can show the source of, so the proof on this site is thinner than the proof on sites that make theirs up.
Next
Read the pricing, then check your town
The tiers and everything not in them are on the pricing page. How a town is defined and how the check works is on areas we cover. Who we are, with the address and the hours, is on the about page.
Questions electricians ask before they choose
Why should an electrician pick one person over an agency with a team?
Because with one person the audit, the writing, the profile work and the report are all done by someone who knows your account, and the phone is answered by that person. An agency's team is mostly between you and whoever does the work. The trade-off is capacity: one person takes fewer clients, which is the same reason we can promise one electrician per town.
What if you are ill, on holiday, or hit by a bus?
The work is monthly, not hourly, so a week away does not change what you get in the month. Your profile, site and Search Console are in your own accounts, so nothing is locked behind us. If we stopped trading, you would keep everything and only the monthly work would stop.
Are the case studies real?
Yes, and the results page says whose numbers they are, what the dates were, and what has not worked yet. The garage figures are from a Webso Digital client's Search Console. We do not publish testimonials we cannot show the source of, which is why there are few of them.
Do you have reviews I can read?
Not on this site. We publish only what we can show the source of, and a block of quotes on a page we control is not that. Check the nine facts, read the results page with its caveats, and ring the number. If you want a reference from a client, ask and we will ask them.
What is the catch?
Time. Nothing meaningful shows in month one, competitive cities take longer, and we say so before you pay. If you want a position promised in thirty days, we are the wrong studio, and the ones who promise it are describing a search nobody makes.
Check whether your town is free
Put your town and your website on the form. Within one working day you get a written answer on the town, the audit, and a quote from the person who will do the work.
